Surrounding the festivities were large cartoon caricatures of each of the Partners adorned the walls. Mr. Winter continued, “Our people make it all possible. No other organization has a comparable array of heavyweight talent. They're the stars, as you can see on the walls.”

The group is comprised of 19 former CEOs and Regional Directors of major multinational product and service companies operating in Asia. The Gravitas Partnership has been operating successfully for more than a year prior to the official debut and has operations in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh and Seoul.

The Gravitas Partnership put on their official launch event last April at the Armani Caffé in Hong Kong. But after 12 months of business? “All the partners have long and successful track records operating in the Asia marketplace”, said Chairman Roger Winter, “but we wanted to wait until we had firmly gelled as a group. Now’s the time.”

The avant-garde, Chater House venue was fitting for such an unusual group. Describing the firm, Mr. Winter said, “We are unlike other professional service groups because we devise and deliver effective growth strategies based on our Asian experience, and then we carry them through to completion.” Rather than preach textbook theories, we all bring to the table hard-won, hands-on experience across a range of disciplines.
